Little help needed

Ive got a 1.2i (c12nz) with a f10 4 speed box
I want to make it 5 speed, I have a f13 box sitting here
And was wondering if it will fit. Only thing why I haven't
Put it in yet was that I have a small flywhell and the car
I took the f13 out of had a big flywheel.

So will it work?

take the clutch from the car the f13 came from see if that fits your flywheel if not take the flywheel also and swap both onto your engine (that is if the splines in your f13 dont fit the clutch plate on your 1.2 )

As far as I'm aware the f13 is a straight swap for the f10

I know I cant swap the flywheels over because the start will not fit, had issue
Before when I brought a lightened flywheel turned out to be a big flywheel
So I couldnt fit it.
I 95% sure it will fit.. Just wasnt sure on the flywheels.

Thought it was just a case of bolting the f13 on in place of the f10 using all 1.2 stuff like clutch, flywheel and starter and cutting the lobe off under the gear gaitor to allow 5th to be selected.

Right.... Keep the 1.2 flywheel, and clutch. Fit the f13 complete with the selector shifter box. And modify the gearstick for clearance.

Now the important bit. It will struggle to pull a wide ratio[wr] box up the road in top.. But a close ratio[cr] will be a good choice.

Off topic. How many Nova's at this Lakeside these days as it still pops up every month (street racing)?

Fitted box friday, the ratio isnt to bad, drop the revs abit in 5th though.
