engine help needed

People,
can anyine out there help. I have just finished the restoration of my 93 nova sri, but now it looks like the engine has decided to die!!.
I have been looking everywhere for a replacement c14se engine with no joy.

However i can seem to find a c14se engine with the coil pack but not the distributor.
Can the coil pack be removed and the distributor installed or is this something that canr be done.

All advice would be greatly appreciated.

just use your cam and carrier and the new engine :thumb:

or just fit the engine with the coilpack? will be a bit more reliable than an old dizzy

i fitted a c14se to mine from a corsa (coilpack) only 8 wires need wired in

any chance you would be able to tell us what wires etc.. do you need a new ecu wiring loom.

you will need the ecu and loom that comes with the engine, ive got the written down somewhere ill get them for you
