View Full Version : clutch cable
after fitting my 20seh ive just read a thread about the clutch cable snapping
dos the hole for the cable need bent when fitting an 8v?
if it does im ****ed as i havent lol
yes, with an f16 or f20 style box
hmm the gearbox looks in the same place as before though lol, just had a look at the cable and it dosnt look like theres much stress on it
i might still be able to bend it while the engines in with it being an 8v

Its to prevent the inlet manifold rubbing through the cable on 20XE conversions...I'm pretty sure the SEH is fine as normal
I'm also running a bog bros manifold and r1's so its not as bulky as the stanndard inlet
no with an 8v you dont have to its only with the 16v and turbos.
