Clutch cable

My clutch cable snapped yesterday - to order a new one do I ask for a Nova one or a c20xe one?!!!!

Nova mate.Ive got 2.5 v6 nova and got a new clutch cable and it fitted perfectly.

if you went to a parts place & asked for a c20xe clutch cable, they would look at you funny.. all nova cables are the same, and they also fit the big block gearboxes

the bloke in the motor factors was helpful - he understood that the car had a different engine but he wasnt sure which cable was the right one as apparently they are both different. He's ordered me one for the nova and one for the engine and whichever one doesnt fit I can take back so hopefully one of them will fit!!!! Nightmare lol

Have you done the mod and bent the clutch cable guide on the bulkhead as it reduces stress on the cable

I bought the car already done mate but thats a good tip as thats where the cable snapped - where it goes through the bulkhead so it must have been rubbing and fraided!!!
