baxter, do you remember my post about the bloke who was using an air rifle with massively uprated spring...he was putting oil in so the air pressure ignited the oil in a diesel type cycle & made a remarkable pellet velocity..... he lives locally..

windfreek, the oil is meant to be a lubricant, and yes, it is a very grey area.....he was using high grade vegetable oil last time i asked.

jake.. this bloke makes his own.

Surely when it gets that involved (both faffing and in the eyes of the law) you may aswell just buy a real gun..........

he does it more for the challenge... and if he goes rabbitting, nobody bats an eyelid if he walks up the lane with an 'airgun' over his shoulder

What I'm doing is fixing the turbo up ready to go to its new owner and tidying up in here, I just know what that is.

Would love to make one of those things though lol

Makes his own guns? highly illegal

& in reply to the spud gun thing my mate made one out of guttering down pipe (think thats what its called?) which you could fit a whole potatoe down. Made a very big hole in his garden fence lol

Err Baxter, i see smoke from the barrel, and hear the noise, but not even a blade of grass moved, im very disappointed by you lol

Any im sure even making spud guns, if they use some kind of propellant (i.e. flammable materials) theyre classed as illegal!

Correct.
Real guns are not supplied in cardboard boxes. lol

Box underneath gun is also a sniper rifle, not a nade launcher, therefore not the box for that gun :p

Didn't look enough, noticed it appeared too shallow though. Reckon this one came in a felt lined wooden case then? lol
Meh. All childrens toys.

A wooden case couldn't stand up to the bang if that thing were to go off, metal crate with that hard as nails 'eggbox' shape foam lining imo.

A wooden case also wouldn't stand up to a 12 bore shotgun blast from close range, yet they come in them. Real weapons come in nice cases.

Just backs up Baxters toy confessions. lol
