wide arch mk1 nova project

been doing some bit to my nova so think its time for a thread.had this nova for some time now and i drive it every day so i can only can do bit by bit.
started by lowering and wheels.dont know if im going to keep them but i do like the look of them.
doing the arches my self. no fiberglass here.

Must admit I cringed when I saw the drawn plan on the arch but you've done a great job of that, looks factory but wider!

Did you have to add much metal in to get it to that?

That what i was going for mate.dont want it been over the top. Dident have to add much just about 1 inc strip across the arch and about 2cm strip down the arch and 4mm strip were the bumper sits.

small up date just on the wheels.Got rid of the 17s and gone for some 16s.gave them a qwick cost of black till i referb them.thinking of going white or gray

now i have scrapt the corsa after some one hit me and sene me in to an astra. i now have room to keep my nova :) very happy!
so befor it gose back on the road im doing some bits.

got some bigger brakes,lower springs gmax shacks.h.i.d lights 16" speedlines
going to get some fiber glass wide arches in the next few days and going to mk2 it

finished the filller cap had to cut and weld the filler neck so arch would fit

all on and had a skim of fiberglass.today they had a there first skim of filler.
went and got some paint today and a new gear box. as the one i had was elec speedo

Havn't seen many wide arch nova's. From the back it's got a kind of 6r4 look about it, very classy. Looks better with the Mk 2 front end as well. +rep

hi thanks you all comments.I sold the nova to try and get a saloon. but about the paint. it was not ment to go like that. i sprayed it the cold was going to lacquer but liked the matt look.
