sky, you get a discount when you are a paid member on here

have a look in the insurance part of the forum, very friendly people to speak to

i spoke to a sound guy called luke who actualy knew about cars so made it a hell of a lot easier

I guess that company didn't want your business. lol

How come you've only got 2 years NCB? Even with that, at your age you should be looking at <£1k unless you're in a crap post code - but you need to look at specialist insurers.

Sky are always my first recommendation, and as said you'll get discount if you join the paid club (£10 for what could save you hundreds!)

thanks people, am on the case.lol cant be my postcode( i hope) as i live a nice place.lol got a quote for 1100 which is MUCH better, but still unsure if the insurance got my drift about the car being a 2lt 16v. its on the docs as 1998cc which is good but when you do a quote online computer says NO. lol

how do i go about becoming a paid member? also is it a 1off fee or monthly?

thanks again people

Yeahm, £10 a year. Its a subscription, so it will automatically renew (unless you change your card details or cancel the renewal at any time)

Must admit, they are reasonably priced TBH. They qouted me £980 FC on a £15k Escort Cosworth with convictions & non fault total loss claim.
