Just a quick question as my Delco calipers are officially no longer useful.

To replace the Delco calipers with ATE units, there is no need to convert or change anything? If it's a straight conversion I may as well get ATE calipers, but if there is other work needed then I shall retain Delco units as I have only a limited time to do the work.

Many thanks.

Delco units have never ever been useful lol

If replacing like for like (size wise) get some calipers from a Corsa B (Sport or something, 236mm ~ fit under 13s aswell) if going bigger Astra GTE/GSi, Cavalier 2.0 8v/16v are your friends (obv will need discs aswell). If you want slightly bigger but seriously cheap, Corsa C 1.8 SRI or 1.7 Diesel calipers & disv's (270mm IIRC).

You need to get a brake line clamp, cos it makes life a lot easier with bleeding afterwards.. You reuse the allen key headed bolts, or even better, get the donor bolts, but the banjo union is a direct fit to the new calipers, and as long as you keep the bleed nipple to the top, its a straightforward job. As long as the old bolts aren't seized, its about an hours work.
