I've wired my let's eml and earthed the brown/yellow
It's flashing away, I will write down the number of flashes, does it loop over and over??
Anyone fancy being tech support over the phone?

Here you go Jeff, download this CLICKME (http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/info/fault_codes/fault_codes.pdf)

www.topbuzz.co.uk (http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/)

then - information

then - technical guides

then - Reading ECU Fault Codes

This basically brings up the same.

Wicked southie, rep en route
Am getting
31-crank
57-Icv
61-vent valve
71-air temp
95-hot start
Loads of the buggers!!!!! got more codes than Argos. Lol
I have disconnected ecu to hopefully reset logging and see what remains
Is that right?

Yes they appear to be on the list for the LET, seems as though it could be the lack of crank signal to the ECU also a bad earth problem somewhere with a few of them being "low voltage".

As you've mentioned try and reset the ECU, usually disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting should clear some faults, some faults are stored when the engines running though so you may get a different set of stored faults at a later stage.

If I remember correctly code 31 comes up if engine is not running so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Have you got the other sensors plugged in like hot start valve etc?

Sometimes people bypass them cos they're not needed but you still need them to be plugged in to keep ecu happy.

Ok, everything plugged back in and cleared codes. All I'm left with is 57-Icv. its idling at 2k at the mo but Paul is sending a couple of spare icv's anyway.Misfire all gone. at the mo, need to bounce it down the road so see if it dies again. Some of the wires to various sensors had snapped off at the plug end under the shielding.

Have you tried cleaning the ICV out at all? Some other suggestions here CLICKME (http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/other-mechanical-electrical/453374-c20let-fault-code-reading.html)

Glad some progress is being made though.

Cleaned the ICV with WD40 and it still idles at 2100rpm

Thanks again Mr Southie:thumb:
