New car, New garage, New project

some of you may remember my last project thread if you can call it that,
this one is going to get done and work has already started.
The car is a 1.2 1992 mk2 in nordic blue (if thats right?)

Its had new rear arches, a patch in the engine bay and is in the middle of getting new sills.

Plans are:
Full shoot (same colour)
Gsi front bumper
Gsi side skirts
Bigger brakes
Wheels after all the snow
Blue SR interior (need front seats and door cards)
Gsi spoiler(unsure)

looks to be quite a tidy base. what happened to the red nova you had?

needed quite abit of work and this one turned up for a price i could'nt say no to, hoping for a quick turn around on this one and get it on the road next month.

right stripped the front end down do have a better look the front pannel and splash guards, and everything looks good has a little bit of welding done but nothing major and its been done good.

Then we set about cutting the sills out and getting the new ones in place.

looks like you need some inner arches buddy and possibly inner sills, though progress is looking good and heading in the right direction looks a good base

inners are fine mate just little surface rust and a patch we cut out and the rear arches have been done by the old owner .

been quite busy since the last update done most of the welding that was needed just got the bay to do now. only got the doors to prep and underneath to strip and paint hence todays anticks ;) anyways ill let the pics do the rest.

i carnt even find wheels for the daily atm so...i really like ceasoros (spelling) or speedlines but i would like to do something diffrent and still look old school, you got any sugestions?

as for seats you a bit far and moneys tight atm mate

Ah cool distance wise I'm poss down your way at weekend to look at an Evo so could take em down if you could meet, only after 70,
Speedlines are really nice same wit cesaro's always suit nova's I think Not greatly keen on slabs what about comps, speedline minstrals or even astra gsi fan's Abit different?

now that the car in on the spit ive fully striped underneath and made a start on stripping sealer and paint off.

the last time we tryed to get it on the spit the front snapped which ended up in the car slamming back down on the axel stands, didnt realise what it had done untill tonight....
