Thats what it was presented to me in when I bought it, I think thats what most of them came in, isn't that pretty standard practice for takeout buttys?

It was probably me being too impatient to remove the wrapping before tooking in, it had everything on it thats ever been associated with breakfast

Thats not the funniest, Riggy calls them muffins which to me is something that comes with chocolate chips or blueberries, neither would I eat for breakfast or add bacon too

There is a type of Bread called muffin,theyre obviously what saus+egg Mcmuffins come in,but to call all other bread products in that shape is funny lol

In the states, you can get a sweet, stodgy bread roll to accompany your brekkie... They call it a biscuit!!!!!!!!

Leicestershire call them cobs, warwickshire call them batches..... We enjoy asking for a cob in nuneaton & when they say do you want a batch, reply 'no just one will do thankyou'

Yes mate Barms, but with working all around the country I have heard them called many thing, I normally ask what they put burgers in and then ask for one of them filled with chips, I like the Lancashire oven bottom muffins they they sell in tesco, great for buttys fill you up for hours

Batch doesn't mean more than one as you can have a "batch of one".
