Different Rocker Covers?

On a mk1 engine, such as a 1.3 sr lump, and a mk2 engine, such as a c14se, they look the same except from the mk2 has a raised rocker cover, what is this for?

for a engine beather to the throttle bodie fella

a gte/gsi has a raised cover with a breather

So if the car is carbed you could run the non-raised one?

does the c14se have a breather that fits between the starter & the block? if so, you can just use that & fit the early cover
