Right guys got my V6 and went to fit my aftermarket rev counter today ready for 1/4mile tommorow, now i thought it was -
1. red - battery +
2. green - v6 loom
3. black - earth
4. yellow - ign + or lights?
so i pulled the back off the ignition barrel and put the wires to the spades connectors and plugged it back on and the rev counter worked fine, now though when i turn the ignition off the lights stay on and the engine runs?!?!?!? if i turn it to number 2 on the igniton everything goes off but obviously i cant get the key out lol Ive spoke to a mate and he reckons ive origionally wired soething up wrong and its energized a relay? anyone else heard of this? he said to take the battery off for a while and see if the relay flicks back off? What can i do? could i cause a fire etc etc? heeeeeeelp?!?!? thanks :thumb:
