Anyone gone to/going to one?

If you dont know what the charity is, or the event im on about see here http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx

I have just been over the road to the Church and had a lovely big slice of Coffey-walnut cake and tea, had a walk round chatted to some old women lol felt out of place so drank my tea and snook off, but least Ive done a small bit for charity, i manly went over for the cake, but i also do have family etc who have died from cancer, and one of them was supported by the trust so she could take her kids to euro Disney before she died.

I've no direct experience of CRUK so can't comment.

Mac coffee mornings do go on all round the place. Definitely a charity worth supporting. I raised ITRO £800 (a lot of which came from the generousity of members from here) through various means for them when they were doing my treatment.
