I have a brand new SBD ‘AR-AB1’ air box for sale as shown here (http://www.sbdev.co.uk/Air_Filters/Air_Boxes_Backing_Plates/Air_Boxes_Backing_Plates.htm) on the SBD site. These now retail at £240 inc vat + p&p from SBD. I also have a length of 100mm diameter flexible heat proof ducting, new boxed ITG air filter and appropriate diameter clamp. I have no back plate but this would be easy enough to make from a sheet of 2mm aluminium as the air box has four M5 studs so it simply bolts into position. It is designed for any engine running throttle bodies and can be mounted either way round. My plans have changed and I no longer require it. Together this lot would cost in excess of £360+ at retail prices but I’m offering the lot for £170 delivered or £150 collected. Collection can be arranged from near Ikea Nottingham M1 J26. If interested in purchasing please drop me a PM or e-mail.

Actual items for sale as pictured below;

Any dimensions on it for the depth inside, so people can know if there trumpets will fit etc?

EDIT: Sorry just got these of the SBD site.

And from that it looks as if you may also need the extra back plate that comes up around your trumpets to enable it to give enough Clarence so your getting the correct air flow into them, and not creating incorrect pressure's not 100% sure on that though.

You beat me to it Scott as the SBD link in my first post has all the details you'll need. You do not have to run the SBD backplate as it all depends on the legth of the tumpets you are running and clearance you have available. 40mm tumpets will be fine with a flat backplate but if you have longer you may need the deeper SBD backplates. I simlpy do not have the room due to my pedal box to fit this and that's the reason it's now for sale.

Not a good pic but you can see how close the pedal box is in my Astra mk2 to the sausage filter and there is just no way the solid SBD airbox will fit, even with the cutout to clear the brake cylinder it still won't fit :(

Filter tight against the brake cylinder to the right of the pic.
