Are all Nova engine water pumps the same?
I have an E16SE engine in need of a pump, and by the looks of it any 8v water pump is the same?
Looking on EPC the 1.4 and 1.6 (all variants) are the same but they have a different part number to the 1.3 and 1.2.
The nova water pumps have the round/square tooth pulley options, then the timing case backplates can be different. The gte one had a unique tin backplate iirc, as i needed on when on holiday once, so i used a non gte one & thought sod the tin thing, & it lasted for about 10 years before i swapped it

E16SE. this is actually pretty confusing, they're only ever listed as Nova 1.6i.
EPC says the C16SE and E16SE are the same (and the C14SE, C14NV and another I forget). They all had different part numbers originally but have been superceded onto one part number. If I get chance later I'll pop a screen grab from EPC showing the details.
epc has 90349240 for COOLING WATER PUMP AND FITTINGS E16SE,C16SE,C16NZ PETROL ENGINES
That's the part number, anyway, as promised. Below are the images from EPC and then the parts listing for the 1.4 and 1.6 engines. HTH.
