Awesome ! My dad had an older square headlamp one a few years ago for a few weeks before selling it on. Drove really well for the size of it, reasonably quick and silent at 80mph ish on the motorway. Plus you can pretend your a London gangster and put bodies in the boot if that's your thing! Leather bomber jacket optional.

dont bother lol (remember i work for jaguar) 3.2s are very common for chain tensioners failing, coilpacks, afms (afms are on back order and usually come in at around £350 new unless you can get a 2nd hand 1) the 3.2v8 wouldnt pull you out of bed upto around 60mph however they do cruise nicely. Brake pipes are common as is corrosion behind the front struts and front floor pans, the front top arms also suffer bad from movement as do rear subframe bushes, play in the rear wheel bearings is acceptable though erm .............. lol

My son has just bought a X300 4.0 straight 6 Sovereign on lpg.

Car is extremely clean for a 1995 car, and does 30mpg on a run, when lpg price is factored in looking at equivelent of @ 50mpg!!!

It goes quite well too:d

He does get some funny looks as he's 23, one garage asked him if it was his Dad'slol

Great cars when they are right, knowing it has been loooked after is the main thing for cars that were expensive origonally, I would junk the Omega for the Jag myself;)

Get some style in your life:d

You could probably make a couple hundred stripping it? Would the 5 stud setup fit a cav?

But then you'd probably make more taking the Jag and selling it whole.

Oorrrrr take it, then sell it to some romanian immigrants as a vessel to cross the channel in, poot poot lol

Every one says jags are old men cars but I've been looking at s types for a whill now as I want a cruiser for everyday use and I think there class miles better looking and equipped then a beemer and as the nova will be fully striped and pretty much a hardcore track/b road motor it would be a nice break having leather seats and soundeading lol
