astra c16se to be run on dizzy and R1 carbs but which cam ?

Hi I'm looking to run my engine which is out of a K reg 1.6 astra mpi with R1 bike carbs and a dizzy ( one of the black ones not the bosch one) but need to fit a cam with a slot dizzy drive on the end. does anyone have any idea which cam will fit in my engine without mods, also I dont want one too tame as I want bhp but driveable.

You'll need to swap the cam housing to an early Nova SRi one (C14SE with dizzy, the later ones were dispack). The cam is different in the C14 to the 16 but I would imagine there isn't much in it.

One thing to think about is that in a similar thread last week someone mentioned having to undo the head bolts to swap the cam housing. There is no blank plate behind the dispack if you haven't already looked.
