How do you remove the carb supporting studs from the inlet?
Iv got a 1.2 manifold with carb removed to practice with but can't see how they unscrew?
Reason for this is to fit a 32/34 to the sr manifold.
Any help greatful
Richard
I don't know what this particular manifold looks like but I usually use 2 nuts to remove studs

If you put two nuts on to a stud, and tighten them up against each other, you can remove the stud by unscrewing the lower nut as its locked against the upper one.
Theyre a bastad to get out actually, they usually snap!
If/When it does snap use mole grips or a stud extractor

Ah ok I see thanks for that il give it a go.
You ideally need a 1300inlet with 3 studs for that weber. I just use mole grips fixes really tight and have never snapped any.
