What sort of price would it cost to regrind a crank? I've got loads of spare bits from when I had my let engine put in me nova an I want to build another engine on cheap. Anybody any idea?

had mine done for £45 at local engine builders

are the journals ovalled or scored deeply? if not then just get it polished and carry on

You have the right measuring gear to tell? if not then you wont know so take it to an engine builder to measure and do whats needed.... Although an element of trust is needed incase they simply regrind it regardless lol

£45 is dirt cheap? i pay £60 but usually £90 to most people but my mate grinds both big ends and mains, find some cowboys only grind the damaged journal which is a proper bodge or some people may only grind the bigs or mains, just easier to keep all to one size

yeh it was cheap use them quite alot and mate was having his done aswell so knocked a bit off.
