How do you fit a seat splitter to the bottom of a GTE bumper cos it has a ridge thing at the front in the middle if you know what i mean. I have seen them on GSI bumpers etc but they are straight along the bottom? Any ideas?

GTE and GSi bumpers are different on the bottom - if you have a GTE one then you will need to cut a triangle in the top edge of the splitter and remove the tabs (depending on which one you get) - the corboda one looks very good. I had a Ibiza GTE one on my 60mm lowered nova with GSi bumper and it was 3" from the floor - used to scrape like a futhermuker on everything!

A little modding and it will fit.

I recommend you PM elsey for a guide - if he fitted his hes done a cracking job

The spliter comes in two halves and i just used about 20 self tappers to screw it to the bumper, then you just have to cut the ends off, it didn't need any other cutting. its been on a year now and took a lot of abuse when i had my 15s on

The car hasn't gone through an MOT yet without the indicators, the wires ar tapped up and sitting in the engine bay just incase it fails. :D

My B reg Nova didn't have side repeaters on anyway as standard!

Thanks for the help.

Oh and Frog_southampton you add a splitter to the bottom of the GTE lip thing. The lower the better!! 8)

Thats because C reg or older (1985) dont have to have repeaters on by law as also they dont have to have rear seat belts, which is nice :D

Yeah but i would rather have the wieth of seatbelts in my car rather than my passengers killing me when i crash!!

Oh and Froggy! All GTE bumpers have the splitter type lip on then.

i had an rgm one (infact its still in the garage somewhere). i like it, think it looks good, is a good fit and can take a hell of a lot of abuse. (it used to scrape everytime i went into or out of the drive. think how many times that happened in two years  )
