haha maybe a bit but you only live once, plus its better than pissing it against the wall and having nothing to show for it

Make sure you use plenty of cam lube when installing it, check and make sure the timing/fuelling are both ok before start up.
You want the engine to start straight away, and hold 2000rpm for 20 mins, so maker sure the cooling system is ready too, don't let it idle during the first 20 mins.

No it isnt,it will only blow up one day, trust me-they all do!!! Then see how much better it is lol lol
I'll have all the cooling system filled and ready to go, I'll have the basemap loaded into megajolt too so as long as everythings set up it should fire
As forth fuelling I have the main jets drilled out to 1.8mm the idle screw is 3.5 turns out on all carbs and just the standard needle height so hopefully everything runs

LMFAOOOO lol
If it does start to get hot though it IS OK to turn off the engine, let cool down and start again. about 2500rpm should be ok. And again plenty of cam lube!!!
It's a 20seh with r1 carbs
Does a 20seh have cam bearings? Or is ut like the XE with just cam caps?
No bearings it's all 1 piece
Then you dont need to run it in afaik
You run the cam bearings in not the cam dnt you?
Still a bearing, just not a shell bearing. The cam will wear to the 'bearings' or cam caps if you prefer.
What I've read is the cam loves need run in at decent enough revs to stop flat spots on the lobe itself
Its so the lobes harden with heat.
