Recently lowered car 60mm.

I have had a standard mk2 bumper with seat splitter on, the problem is that its so low it catches on the slightest of bumps, sometimes even drains etc.

I have taken the splitter off but the front end seems strange now and was wondering what to do.

should i go for a laguna splitter which is alittle thinner than the seat one?
i have been thinking about going for novadose bumper or something similar but will this be low?

My cars lowered 60mm with GSi bumper and did have seat ibiza GTE splitter - v deep and when bolted on only 3" from floor if that!

Took it off.

Try corboda or laguna one. Not as deep.

Also standard nova mk2 bumpes not as deep as GSi one so surprised its catching. Sure the cars lowered 60mm and not 80!

got a pic?

If its catching on drains with a standard front bumper youve wither got very high drains in yer area or summuts not right.

i'll take a pic and upload it, with a splitter on it was less than and inch off floor!

i think u have lowered it 80!! but it looks smart that low!!
maybe a laguna or cordoba splitter is in order. but i dont think u need a splitter.

but nice motor pal

i was thinkin it maybe 80 too cuz i have had to grind the lip off the inside of the front wings cuz it caught whenever i went fast round a bend.

i think i may leave it without a splitter to.

got some 60mm springs to fit at the back also but they could be 80 too!

Seat splitter going on mine this week, I hope to rip up some cats eyes, or rip off the splitter, one of the two. I'm not happy unless i'm ploughing the road.

clearance at the front bumper yes as it will raise the car EVER so slightly - but having said that if he is having issues with arch clearance on 15s......... 16s will require work :x
