Quick hi-Jack, for replacing dial's is there a way of doing it without taking dash out? (not that Ive looked into it yet)

Remove steering wheel(Use a puller where possible)
Remove steering column cowling(Three screws underneath & two on the front on later Mk1 cowlings)
Remove centre console(2x screws under the caps)
Remove dash undertray(Screw at each end and two in the centre)
Remove radio
Remove clocks and disconnect wiring and speedo cable(See instructions below).
Remove ashtray then centre vent fascia(Two screws under fascia and another two above the vents) and disconnect all wiring and heater cables.
Remove glovebox(Four screws, 2 up, 2 down and bolt on right hand side)
Remove headlight switch and switch panels and disconnect wiring.
Disconnect fusebox from the dash(Unclips)
Remove dash end panel screws(There are 2x on each end on later Mk1 dashes, only 1 each end on early)
Remove Nuts from behind where clocks & glovebox would be(Facing down from the top of the dash).

Push top of clocks backwards. Tilt them back, pull one side out and disconnect everything(It helps to push the speedo cable back through the bulkhead) then slide them out.

For removing Mk1 dashes, angle grinders, hammers, oxy acet torches etc work fine :)

As above i was going to suggest the hammer method, just need to be careful not to get carried away and clunk yer screen with it, as no amount of gavin's resin will fix a lump hammered screen lol
