Storm 2 will be a MASSIVE come down and step back from any eyepone.

I tried the 9680 (Torch with no slider, some gayers are calling it the Storm 3), its pretty good if you like a full touch screen.... I dont so didnt get on.
Then tried the 9900 Bold half keys half touch.... WOW its their flagship handset with a 1.2gig processor etc, properly flies and the half touch is fantastic, it shall be my upgrade in a few weeks as my Bold 9700 is getting a shade retro now lol.

I think all BB's made in the past 24 months have wifi on board. I can relatively easily get 4 days from one charge on the 9700 with OS6, no idea what the new fast one will do but I guess 2 days tops.

samsung galaxy S2 on 3 for £35 quid a month, all you can eat data and about 3000 mins xnetwork per month, the phone is fooooooookin awesome

BUT CHECK 3 COVERAGE IN YOUR AREA,

i have ayephone 4 and wife has samsung,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i want a samsung :(

only downside to the 3 deal is a 2 year contract but its an awesome deal esecially as you pay fook all to get the phone!

I've had my Bold 9900 for a few weeks now, it's the best phone I've had by a long shot. Had a 9700 for nearly 2 years previous, that worked flawlessly the whole time too.

We are looking at the eyeponf for the Mrs and the cost is putting us off.... handset price isnt a massive issue, but the mental tariffs are well short of the mark just because its on an eyepone, makes the £5 a month for BIS seem entirely reasonable lol

Iphones are more like kids toys though.

tbh the only thing i use my iphone for other than the normal phone features is the ebay app which i can live without and probably save me pennies lol

They're dead easy to take apart, just pop off the bit below the keyboard, remote the two T5 torx screws, unclip the silver frame and slide upwards, then it's 4 more screws and it's all in bits

aye a had a good look round youtube, couldnt find one directly for a 9700 earpice but if its anything like the trackpad itll be easy enough

Yeah it's pretty easy, my old one was apart many times lol, new loudspeaker, new keyboard and new screen. down to the abuse it gets from working in a garage

Seriously DONT get another phone if you have a iphone, it will be a step down

Unless it's a Galaxy S2. In which case it's a big step up. Yeah the back is plastic, but it keeps the weight down.

£20 for the phone. £20.50 p/m for 400 mins, unlimited wifi, unlimited texts and 500mb data.

Shove your iPhone tax! lol
