Hi all.
Will the disc and calipers off a mk2 Astra 2.0L 16v fit straight on to a Nova ?
What size are these disc ?
Or are there better options for the Nova which will fit under 14 inch rims but not cost a small fortune ?
Thanks :thumb:

Yes Astra ATE calipers fit without problems under 14's. Disc diameter is 256mm.

They won't fit under all 14's. For example, they won't fit under the 3 spoke SR alloys - I tried and failed, lol!

They will if you give them a shave

What wheels do you have?

I fit those brakes fine on my 1.4 SR steelies and my 4 spoke cav wheels, just ;)

Shave the wheels or calipers? That would be good as I have 6 good SR alloys going to waste that I could use on the rally car if they fitted over the calipers. I'm using 14" RFX and weller steels atm that fit no problem.

Calipers.

You could just fit a teeny tiny spacer - 3mm or so should do it.

Why don't you fit the slightly lesser ATE setup - 256mm x 20mm and calipers. Normally found on cars like the Cav MK3 2.0 SRi (which came with 14" steel rims back in the day).
