What are the differences between 4/5 door carb tanks and 4/5 door spi tanks?

Doesn't the SPi have a fuel return pipe?

isnt a spi injection pump an in-tank pump? i.e. hole under the rear seat to access it

carb tanks have a return apart from the 1.0

i dont think carb tanks have a swirl pot in the tanks either

Carb tanks only have a level sender and no swirl pot. The spi tank has a built in swirl pot and the whole pump/level sender assembly bolts in under the rear seat. Good luck finding a spi 5dr tank, took me months to find mine lol

Got one in at the mo, thinking of swapping it for the carb tank I have for a carb conversion :)
