The gold mk1 was John H's at the time and is now Adam's, the black GSi was Mark Ridley's (nova cabrio) and was actually sold on that day, think it was big blocked a year or two afterwards, the red vauxsport livered one is Spanish-fly's and was eaten by fire rats then subsequently rebuilt (undure if tis finished though, probably will be) the red one with the tiny front plate was Rick Draper's and was broken not long afterwards, the silver GSi is still on here although i cant remember the user (although will F springs to mind but im probably wrong) the blue GSi was Iain's (clean 2.0 nova) and was an ecotec and was written off a while back, dont know on the white let, and i think thats all of them covered if im not mistaken?

Edit, nope the black v6 SR is dead as it had an argument with a roundabout and lost, and the other black one 'CAE' is Martin Kelsons (iirc) and is still very much alive:thumb:

Though so, dont think thats alive anymore though as Im sure Chris put the engine into his pepermint Corsa, then removed & sold it for XE and the Corsa is for sale too.

I seem to recall i saw that many moons ago at a cruise (possibly in sheffield) in about '04, it had rear seats in it but no panels or trims or indeed belts or anything else, there was a lad trying to impress by telling the specs of the car (i think it was the owners mate, and i made a comment about a turbo in a nova being impressive) and he replied 'yeah its got six speed too' i was like 'meh, my xe has an f28 aswell' he looked very confuddled and said 'but i bet its not six speed though' i LOL'd and said 'f28 is the code for a six speed box, so yes it is' lol

Yeah that was Rick Draper's, was a money no object build and had the biggest and best of everything, and pushed the limits of a let's capabilities to the max, iirc when it got rebuilt it went for mapping and blew up on the rollers on a low boost map!

Iirc from the TV article, it didnt have gasket problems, it had that much boost that it stretched the headbolts and lifted the head and let the boost pressure into the cooling system and blew the header tank up:eek:

Good car fairly, can fully understand why it got broke for parts in the end though.

Nah i dont think Iain's was rotten, it was always immaculate when he had it, iirc it never went out in the rain and was always cleaned and polished after being out anywhere!

Couple of pics of it from a north east meet in '07 i think...

Shell lives on and a second new owner has it now. Should be seen next year i think.

When it blew up at brunters it was pretty much 100% my fault and also when it blew up on the rollers it was pretty much 100% my fault. On the rollers it did hit 2.something bar of boost at one stage.

What did you do wrong that made it blow up?

Was it like the Nova version of bigrons Corsa?

A number of things that I should not have done but i was young and irresponsible. One was using ALS when the ALS map had not been done, another was giving it 2.5 bar boost when i was told to only give it a tickle lmfao.

Mine too still in one piece............sort of!
No dash in at moment & waiting fir the Stack clocks to come back.

Just pushed it out of garage as mate on his way to wire my heated screen in & sort out the mess I made getting the Stack loom out!

I was in the process of fitting carbs to mine, but was threatened with redundancy so broke it up. Adam still had it as his track car :)
