What is the direction of flow of a bosch external fuel pump. Is it inlet at the terminal end?

lol mines plumbed in with inlet at the terminal end!!

EDIT: no its not. Just checked a pic.

Thicker black pipe comes from the tank. Thinner black pipe comes out the terminal end, into the regulator thingymajig, then onto the filter.

Easy way to tell.... Big pipe = inlet, little pipe = outlet
