Walking the dog down the road to the shop and I see one never really see them about seem rare almost, but my question is has anyone ever put a vxr engine in to one ? Would make one hell of a sleeper lol

fitting 200 odd hp into a tinny little vauxhall granny wagon, its ridiculous.. thank god nobody ever did it to a nova!!!!!lollollollol
The agila is based on the suzuki wagon, and as such uses a suzuki gearbox and drivetrain. If you vxr it you'll have to make custom shafts and hubs. not to mention do someting with the tiny brakes. oh and suzuki wiring.

Am I right in thinking its basically a corsa under the body running gear wise ect
they did vxr it, and call it a meriva..

Did you have to use custom hubs ect or the Suzuki gearbox?

no used the 1.2 gearbox flywheel and clutch bolted to the 1.6 block left hand engine mount had to be fabricated and the alternater had to be modified to fit around the master cylinder intake routed to the other side (by the battery) instead of the cambelt end and a few other bits
