hi guys, i was just wondering, i have added a fast road kent cam and a weber carb to my 1.3 sr engine. is there anything that would need adding to help the engine perform better with these on? as i have the engine in and running but it seems to be getting much hotter then normal and i dont want to fry it. cheers.

What do you mean hotter? Running lean or coolant??

Sounds like your timing is out - get a vernier and a big manifold - you wont see huge gains - with a single carb, but it all helps

yeah the coolant gets really hot, i think it will be because of the timing.
