Whats the fastest car that....

Last night, a bloke pulled up to me in a black Supra with the full Veilside kit, smart as fook, and started asking me whether I had seen a Supra owner's club, anyway the conversation went on, and I asked whether I could see his engine.

When he revealed the power of the thing, fook mine,

A 3.0 24 valve twin turbo, as quick as you like. Loads and loads of engine mods, one turbo comes in at 2000rpm andd the other kicks in at 4000rpm. Goes of the clock at 180mph, 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds. It goes on, over 450bhp, thats 130bhp worth of mods!!!!!!!!

He took me for a drive round the block, arse end flew out as he pulled out, eased of the accelerator then floored it, turbo's flung you back in the seat.

I am not lying, it was literally in about 200-300 yards and we were at 70mph. The thing fookin flew!

That is by far the quickest thing I have ever been in. Just out of interest has anybody else been in one of these if not whats the quickest thing which you have been in.

fastest car i have ever been in was a dodgy Nissan in South Africa, dont know what model it was.

But that wasnt the quickest.

Quickest car I've been in is a TVR Griffith. My mates MR2 Turbo import is pretty quick along with Breeny's 2.0 Turbo. Another friend has a Lancia Delta Intergrale that's pretty rapid. Can't really think of a definative car that I can class as the quickest that I've been in.

supra sounds HEVY. Fastest fing ive bin in is a 350bhp Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. Dis thing fuckin flew and apparently could hit 60 in low 5 or high 4 seconds. pinned me 2 tha back of my seat, it wud give the supra a race as well!

drove a TVR Tuscan but was in the middle of city and he had only jsut picked it up so couldnt rev over 3K lol she was a slut to drive in town, sadly didnt get to go out and give her a rag.

fastest heavy vehicle ive driven was a Claas Lexion 460 (i think) Combine lol 30 mph in 15Tons :) v nice

My (:roll:) nova turbo in a straight line, CPs round the bends, A Bentley Turbo also springs to mind, it actually felt really quick cos of the amount of torque they have!

Got a friend with a Tuscan S havnt been out in it yet... Its on its 2nd engine rebuild in about 15k at the mo :lol:

ooo forgot Chips old Nova Turbo aswell, much quicker than mine.

for 10 grand you could go and get a sports bike, mod it, and piss over anything you'll come across!

For example the new suzuki GSXR1000 will do:

has a !!RESTRICTED!! top speed of 186MPH!!
and 164BHP!!

And thats of the show room floor!

fastest car i been in and drove is me old man's mitsubishi gto, 3l twin turbo (turbos aren't staggered like supra ones they run sequentially) with 320 bhp as standard, 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering and automatically controlled suspension (gets stiffer the faster u go!)

it tops out at about 175mph runnin standard boost of 6psi!!

trying to blag him to get boost controller as engine will can cope fine as standard with turbos runnin up2 13 psi (would make the thing even fookin scarier!)

There's a guy on nova owners yahoo group with a 2.0L phase 4 turbo silk violet GSI nova. Think its close to 370bhp...

I'd say you'd be hard pushed to find a car to beat that once it gets traction!

To be honest how many times are you gonna hit over 155? We managed to get 170 out of the M3 once before the limiter kicked in (you can get a little over 155 before it wakes up!)

As for bikes, show them afew corners and they wouldnt see a car for dust.....

fastest car i've been in so far is my mates 2.5 V6 Vectra Super touring. not the most exciting thing ever but well fast, pick up is rediculous, lost my stomach last time i was in it, acceleration moudled me from front passenger seat onto rear seat,

i want one badly!!!!

its standard apart from ram-air filter.

Disagree there. I havent had the experience myself, but one of the lads I work with is into his hot rods. He's goes to the street legal events and there are cars there that do 1/4mile in just over 8 secs.

You will be hard pushed to find any bike that can do a 1/4 mile quicker than that.

Fastest thing I've been in however was a tvr cerbera. Felt nice and quick, but not quick enough. :(

Fastest I have been in is caterham r500 superlight, boy that thing shifts.

Fastest 'normal' car Porsche Carrera RS, that thing moves well rapidly too :)
