Inner wings are like like horse poop tbh so good luck, best off seeing if anyone has a knackered reared shell and get that to get a front end tbh.

you just cut down the inner arch till you get good steel then weld it to the outer arch

Inner wings are difficult but not impossible to find. I have been after a right front inner wing for a while and I eventually got one last month. Bonus was it was even an early pre 87 one which is slightly different and was superceded by the later one.
There are plenty of quarters kicking round.
Good luck!

They aren't as good as you might think... I enquired about 2 rear quarters not too long ago as my arches are in desperate need of doing and they said they couldn't get hold of any...

Well they are good, there prices are good, and i never had any difficulties with them etc, but if your desperate for rear ARCH LIPS use ebay or some thing like to track them down etc.

If I had it I would keep it standard/ish with only a few subtle mods e.g exhaust, wheels, suspension. But it's entirely up to you. Nice GSi btw, in my favourite colour for them too. :d :thumb:

thanks people, yeah its totally standard, still has the orig tapedeck, never been smoked in, 1 little woman owned this car all its life until a guy down south bought it to make a profit on it( on my expence) but if you want something you gotta grab it while you can.lol

I phoned up about that car when it was on ebay, the owner said they were going to "let the auction run" which was fair enough. The auction was removed, re-listed and removed again.

unsure bout that. i phoned the guy, told him to remove the car and i would cover the cost of the ebay fees. maybe he didnt think i would come down for it. totally unsure mate. i seen it on ebay bout 3 wks ago and just bought it but didnt collect for a week or so maybe thats why relisting.
