My mk1 1.2l died on the way home from night school tonight, was about 2miles from home between two lorrys in the fast lane :eek: then it started juddering like the clutch was slipping then all of a sudden it just groaned and died. couldnt get it started again so had to get dad to tow me home. Im thinking it could be either blocked carb of failed fuel pump. Was wierd as it started to judder on the way there over the orwell bridge but then behaved for the rest of the way (40miles) temperature was fine and didnt seem under powered or anything. wasnt ragging it either as i love the car dearly lol so yeah any ideas? havent really had a chance to poke about yet, will have to wait till after work tomorrow. hope its nowt serious :cry:
