Nice job, I did my mirror covers, rear view mirror etc and turned out ok.

I find it very tedious to get a good finish, lots of heat and patience is my best advice Thom.

around the plugs is shocking, and it would have been easier with a head gun not a flame proof lighter lol. but it will do for now. might get another cover and have another attempt at it and use a heat gun etc :d

Most lighters are flame proof purely in the fact they actually squirt fire away from theirselves surely?

no idea. the cases on ebay look like about a tenner. only problem ive found with mine so far is the cd draw button is a bit hard to push. due to the wrap going around the holes. also the same with the memory card slots. ill get pics of when it looks like close up

i recon it would look better if i was to spray the case matt black first. but even then i would get the white holes, which i dont think looks too bad. but the back needs some work. a proper heat gun or hairdryer would have made it easier

So how exactly do you do wrapping like this?? Any chance of like an online guide or something?? You know idiot proof stuff that we can prove isn't idiot proof :)

lol on which bit? used a stanley blade, the width of it was JUST wide enough to do the xbox. had about 2-3mm to play with which is why the edges are a bit iffy.


ill find something simple to wrap and ill take pics. might do the black plastic on the HDD.
