Nova td daily project

Needed new daily motor for gd mpg so when i heard of a mate selling his nova that has been parked up for 5 years i thought wat beter than a nova :) it had been painted a few times by my friend in needed a respray as primer dexided not to dry! Founf this out as i tried to polish a few marks on it any way was orginaly 1.2 carb since i hada spare gte engine i put that in then found out about a td engine of a member on here complete with chassis leg and fuel filter housin and way a few pics of what been done so far

Then me a friend ( strip in fitter by trade) started to prep door shuts engine bay n boot shut in he painted that after alot of masking up!

I then set about puttin timing belt kit and water pump in service on the td then got it fitted decided not to use td loom but cut loom up to get alt n starter block connections soo would lool right and just wired it up usin 1.2 loom and make separate heater plug loom usin switch and relay

Its now dryin after it got respray in white and exhaust and engine running good after few bits in peices will get pics up tomorro once its back :) :) :) :)

Rear gsi boot vinyl sjould b here next week and i still need to paint from bumper and grill in get side skirts fitted :)

Got my vinyl and got it fitted was tricky getting it on with out any bubbles heres a few pics:

Some fresh pictures now its on the road must say tds are really fun to drive plus its sooo eay on diesel lol
Need to get my gsi skirts painted black to help the look of it.
