i wanted a slight engine upgrade, nothing that takes too much time or work because the 1.2 isnt doing it for me any more lol i came across a 1989 mk2 astra 1.6 in the scrappy and the engine looks like its in very good condition. question is, is it just a case of swapping the engines over? no more work necessary? because they are both carb. help would be appreciated, thanks

Yeah straight swop. I think you need the box and gsi shafts though

Your shafts will be fine but you will need the gearbox
