Realistically, what star rating do you think the Nova
would get on the Encap crash test ?

Obviously the GTE/GSi will be better than 1.0/1.2
because of it's strengthened engine bay.

-2 *'s lol

since it was never designed for a encap test it more than likely wont pass

i dont think the gte/gsi would do any better than a 1.0.

the nova is about as unsafe and unprotective as you can get in a car - you crash at speed and you will find your legs saying hello to the engine block and your head saying hello to the front of the roof as it crumbles.

no way a nova would pass the ncap tests.

sure I've seen it get 2 stars somewhere.

Prob wouldnt qualify for encap anyway - not enuff protection

Smart cars prob more safe!

smart car is one of the safest small cars on the road thanks to the ingenious trideon frame - rear mounted engine on sliding rails to move the engine underneath you in the event of rear impact.

Well if a Saxo gets 2, with Airbag, Side Beams and crumple zones, I think a Nova might manage a half?
