fuel pump mount locations

ive purchased a facet solid state fuel pump to run my r1 carbs along with a filterking regulator

wheres the best place to mount the pump? does the pump push better then pull or vice versa?

also ive saw some people say to mount it lower than the tank, kinda impossible on a nova unless you want it ruppied off on every speed bump lol

i wanted to mount it in the engine bay next to the regulator, would that be fine

ive got mine mounted in where battery would be mate, and regulator next to it.

This mounted on firewall and regulator hanging off strut top on a bracket - The one thing i'll comment on is that it gets noisy when the car get hot and then the idle rises and it runs a little rough. Somewhere slightly cooler than the bay would be nice.
