erm earlier the better i would think as its for an '85, not really sure of the difference though?

is there a difference in thickness on the mk1 sr steerin wheel to the skinny merit wheel? just need a chunkier steering wheel that wont look out of place i think?

The early SR wheels are skinny, I took mine off years ago and fitted a Mountey steering wheel, only put the origonal on back on when I restored her.

Later wheels are more chunky
