a few e16se questions

hi all, just got a few questions about this engine as i have just bought one and its going in my nova eventually,

my nova is a 1.4spi so has iirc a in tank fuel pump, now with the engine came a new external pump, so do i just take out the old one and connect it underneath?

also where can i get a wiring diagram for these engines?

Change your pump to a MPI internal one, wiring is only around 5 wires,

so i should just get a gsi/gte one?

Curt get one from a mpi mk3 astra mate or a daewoo nexia/espero or summat as there a straight swop for your current one.

The gte/gsi set up is external mounted pump and you also need to change the tank.

You can use any GM MPi pump with the old 8v motors. Wether it be big or small XE, SE/H or Ecotec fuel pump etc etc etc theres not really any exact specific car or model it has to be from.

I was using a Cav SRi fuel pump for my 1600 motor & it was fuelling perfectly fine.
