Well thats BS for a start as thats Oli's and it was a baby xe, 1.6 16v, just goes to show kiddies, never believe what you read on the tinterweb lol

Although it was running in the region of 160+ bhp iirc so to see it go, you wouldnt be blamed for guessing it was a bigblock!!

Never seen that one before, he cant pass it at the start... Oli is iirc a very good driver...

And i can vouch for the engine powering the camera car, as ive been in the car it went into when Olly broke it and Christian fitted it into his track shell, fook me the camera doesnt convey the speeds they will be doing on that vid!!!

1600 XE's perform rather well, Bowyer's run around 230bhp in a full rally spec iirc. Wouldn't need millions to get 190 out of one imo, just lairy cams and an inlet to match the flow, and the ability to rev high enough to take advantage of that flow.

It was also stupidly light, there's a vid around of Oli lifting the back end up by the strut brace when he cut his wheel well out... back when it had a steel tailgate!
