me handbrake has stopped locking into position, the back brakes r fine, the cables fine, it just doesn't click anymore, also the button thats pressed to release it, sticks in, i've sprayed it with WD40 and its still the same, what shud I do?

Sounds like your ratchet has gone if it wont click into postion.

Thats why its best to push the botton in then pull the handbrake up then let the botton go. Dont do it any good yanking it on the rachet all the time.

sounds like the spring on the button has gone if its sticking in, this will hold the pin out from the rachet system
