well guys as said please dont hate me but the nova went bye byes today so i thought id crack on with my mg miget old s plate 1800, so i pulled the car out of the garage to find it needed alot of welding more holes than before so i thought meh why not will upload pics asap:)
they only did a 1300 & 1500 midget... so if this is a 1800, is it a triumph lump or a b series??
i like the midget, and if they are stripped out, and got enough power they can give a seven a run for its money
welding ftw as they say, pics!

thats all for now thanks for looking guys :)
when you bear in mind that the midget was originally designed in 1957/8 as the austin healey, and had rust traps big enough to catch a rhino in, that looks surprisingly good.. it also reminds me that novas weren't made of the shonkiest metal ever (close to it though) and once finished, you'll have a really good classic motor to play in..

all the rot was cleaned out bud its solid
Nice project, I would want to cut back to more decent metal tbh
Check out a build diary on vauxsport by a user called aubrey, his midget is unreal!
It'll be great once it's done!
I can't wait to be able to crack on with my healey 3000!
