Hi where is the best place to buy Toyo 195/40 R16 T1-R's from. Was going buying some off camskill but are out of stock.

Any suggestions on the cheapest place let me know.

Thanks Chris

Its sound now camsill has got them back. Got a set for £293 delivered to Ireland, at least £100 cheaper than anywhere else. So happy out thanks anways

Thats a serios price, was that a one off? I searched everywhere and camskill seemed the cheapest. Price of tyres in Ireland in expensive and only place has the Toyo dealership!

Yes, and I enjoyed them on mine and thought they were better than Parada spec 2's imo.

Got to say when my brothers coilovers were setup on his punto the toyo proxes just added so much more to the car handled like it was on rails went good to with its 1.4ltr 120hp motor

T1-R's tried to kill me on a roundabout after I decided to test them by going into it at the same speed that I went round it on 'budget' federal directionals. Front end washed out instantly and the back followed after I got the front in check, would never use them again.

Geez was it in the wet

Only very oh so slightly damp, and as said the federal 'budgets' out performed the super duper race T1-R's by far.

Switching to KU31's was like suddenly having tyres instead of running on the rims by comparison.

This seems to keep coming up with the toyos, I read loads of opinions before buying them and it seemed 50/50 a bit like marmite tbh

Looked on that site they're coming up at £77 a tyre and £342 delivered to N Ireland not even the south. Are ya sure they were 195/40 R16? Cause I couldnt find a place cheaper than camskill delivered to Ireland.

T1's just turn to liquid if you push them vaguely hard, where as stuff like KU31's dont.

Ah sorry no I got 195/50/15 and it was last year.

With everyone talking so highly of these KU31's I may try some when I need some new tyres.

for a few minutes.... then they go liquid :(
Seems they are 'ok' at profiles of 35 and lower though.

Maybe a group buy could be organised from a decent tyre company?

Well got the speedlines tyred up with the Toyos today. have to say they are a real good tyre, no rubbage at all even when cornering hard and thats lowered at least 80mm on the back. The front can even go down a bit more now. Would recommend them for anyone lowered alot.
