View Full Version : F20 strip new gaskets fit LSD and uprated clutch advise?
Hi guys im looking at buying a Quaiffe LSD over the winter for the V6 and i want a strip and new gaskets and my new diff fitted all in one go (i could do it but never done one before so id rather drop it off and collect it all done lol). So i was wondering does anyone have any idea what price id be looking at? We use a local transmission place from my work but i might be able to get some discount for cash lol
Also whats the best/budget as such uprated clutch for a f20? and where do i get one from any links would be good thanks! :thumb:
i know i got drive shaft seals pretty cheap, think i got them from vaux as well. less than a tenner each iirc
yeah ebay list full f20 gasket set £16 plus postage
Go down the place you use through work and ask? They're probably gonna be the most accurate 'guess'
thats the plan lol jw if anyone else had had the same job done
steveboyslim for diff and vxlgsi for helix clutch, both members on mig
helix part number is 70-4627, thats for friction plate only, and use standard LUK pressure plate with it
gaskets and bearings can be bought from here

I can recommend steveboyslim on here for everything he supplied my diff many moons ago and he just rebuilt my f20 using quaife gears etc speak to him about a clutch thats where my AP one is coming from.
I rang around local places for fitting a Quaife ATB into a Vauxhall F20. Half of them weren't interested and the other half were £100-200+ excluding parts IIRC. I think Quaife offer a fitting service too?!
Took the plunge and did it myself and found it loads easier than I expected fitting the diff/bearings/etc! I hadn't done one before either.
