View Full Version : Daewoo Nexia...
...has anyone ever fitted a set of Nexia clocks into a Mk2 Nova? Reason i ask is ive been given a set of electronic speedo driven ones, and the digi dash is getting a little old and dated now, Nexia clocks are basically like Cavalier/Calibra clocks... same layout but in a Astra Mk2 shape fascia... jsut wondering if anyones attempted it? or any pictures?
Any pics of said dials. Sounds interesting

Electronic driven speedo, however wiring looks a little different to Digi clocks... extra plug etc

Compared to digi clocks... exactly the same heigh width etc

If anything they would be easier to fit, as they dont go as far back near the bulkhead as photo shows

Just be something different, and saves butchering the surround and heater pipework to fit Cavalier dials which look too big for the dashboard anyway
They look a pretty nova friendly shape. So should fit.
Electronic speedo would be a hassle though unless you know what kind of sender a Nexia used originally...
Oh and astra digidash was outdated 20years ago lol lol
Well the cars still in the scrapyard... transducer needed! haha
They look good dave, do it!

i like them to be fair, cant be too hard id presume
Daewoo Nexia = Mk2 astra in disguise, should be a piece of pee i reckon.
Its the depth that'll be the biggest problem, as you'll need to chop the crap out of the steering column mount if they're too deep. Which you have to do for cav dials as well, so you may as well fit them lol

Aren't the daewoos basically an astra anyways?? As in you can "redtop them y0" lol... would make for an epic sleeper car....
sleeper is about the right word..... some lad on an astra forum reshelled one as a mk2 gte..
the nexia is actually derived from the american pontiac leMans model which was based on the astra/kadett... so it might look like one but it has a lot of not exactly compatible stuff.

I was under the impression they were GM and therefore a bit more compatible then they clearly are lol
