I rang Courtenay today to get the price of a 2ltr 16 valve engine conversion for my nova and they quoted me ?3800 for the hole lot (s/s exhaust, group n chip, cool running thermostat) . They (and others)have said that the handling of the 2ltr novas is crap if you do not sort the front suspension geometry and drive shaft angles for the extra weight of the engine, is this true?(they will not tell me what they change!) How much is it to put it in yourself (rufly) and is it reliable?, i.e. day to day? Thanks very much Rick

If you have the time and the know how there is a website that givews you a complete guide on how to do it yourself in a weekend. You obviously need the parts and the technical knowledge, not to mention the tools but I wouldn't pay out over ?3,000 to those bastards !!! Just think about the insurance when you considering Courtneys offer !!
