So 12 weeks ago i kind of acquired a nova shell for £100, it had basically nothing apart from the doors, boot, bonnet and windows including broken front screen, steering wheel and handbrake basically enough to make it easier to buy another complete nova

So by week 4 the car was looking like.....

week 8 the car looked like this.....

The novas had a complete respray in Ferrari red, parts of it still need flatting back.
An F28 fitted with big block hubs, strengthening kit a 1.7TD Isuzu engine, the chassis leg mod done so its ready to take an XE/Let.
It has 44K genuine miles on the clock and has only had a small patch of welding done on the underside....then two new arches by me lol
Fitted with Mazda RX7 seats....they were in the attic and really comfy lol

tada!

Thats great mate, will the engine mount be ok there though. It try and twist the mount as I see you are using the standard petrol one. Good effort though, bet it goes well.

The Nova is now 6 months into its MOT, it decided it no longer wanted the bolt holes in its bottom arm and sheared them, its quicker than a 2005 lancer sport, has no problems going up hills in 6th gear and has achieved 75MPG, im currently putting the Mazda 323 turbo back together and the nova shall soon be sold

I used the F28 flywheel, the holes had to be drilled as the offset was slightly different if i remember correctly, i used the F28 clutch and i pulled the splines out on the cover plate about 5MM, cheating abit i know but it works!

It idles at around 40, not too sure exactly where as it has no rev counter lol
