Opel-Treffen 2012 General Interest/Chat

I thought i'd put up a general interest thread for anyone who fancies going over to the Opel-Treffen Oschersleben show in 2012.

The dates are not confirmed yet,that will be in November this year,
The likely dates are to be around the end of May/early June 2012.

I'll put all the info for the show in one location as I think there will be a few members from various clubs wanting to go.

The date for the 17th Opel-Treffen Oschersleben has now been confirmed and released for 2012:thumb:

The show dates are Thursday 7th - Sunday 10th June 2012.

Unfortunately it clashes with the PVS show, so it looks like I'll be missing PVS12.

That means we can also visit the Nurburgring on the way back from the show.

ass new member I've visit Oscherleben for 4 times. And It's great. It's so big that you cant see everything in one day. We as Dutch group have a lot of pleasure by watching cars en say dirty worths to germans. If you like to have a idea of some pics watch my pics of 2010.. in 2011 I was on the track.

The return leg at the Nurburgring has now been confirmed with the B&B we stayed at in 2011

The 2011 price was 30euro per person per night. I would think it will be the same price for 2012.

The booking reference is: "Chris Harden 10-12th June 2012"
Please e-mail him with what type of room you require (Twin/Double/Single).
You will need to give him your credit card details to hold the room for you.
Nothing is taken, as payment is when you leave on the Tuesday morning.

There are a limited number of rooms (15max), so IF you are planning to join us at the Nurburgring, Please book ASAP so we can get us all together at the same place.

We may have some possible bad news for the return stop via the Nurburgring if this is true.

There may be a reduction in Tourist Driving sessions (Tourist Fahren - TF) in the future:mad:

Just an update from the organisers in Germany.

We can get extra car passes for the show if you are interested in going and we can pay on the gate. You will still be on the UK stand with the rest of us. :)
